Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with reconciling bank statements, vendor statements, and customer accounts
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- File, scan, and archive accounting and financial documents
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting records
- Assist with month-end close preparation and reporting tasks
- Support audits by gathering requested documentation
- Perform general clerical duties such as correspondence, copying, and data maintenance
- Assist with special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
